When Bobby Knight was head coach at Texas Tech, Jeff Krueger, who owns Carpet Solutions in Lubbock, Texas, cleaned the carpets at Bob Knight's house. Jeff is a friend of mine. LIke me, he collects Shelby cars and Carroll Shelby autographs and memorabilia. I am an auto photojournalist (Jerry Heasley). Jeff and I trade memorabilia. Jeff knows I am a basketball fan so he got this autographed basketball for me. Well, I've got Shelby autographs and photos for Jeff. The ball is a "Baiden Autograph" series and also reads "Official Size And Weight." The Texas Tech logo and Bob Knight signature stand out very well on the special white "autograph" portion of the basketball. The basketball is mint and has never been bounced. It comes on the round plastic stand included with the ball. By the way, this basketball is high quality- official size and weight like an NCAA game ball with a tactile feel. I think this autograph and ball has an interesting history.
