2009 University of Racing 1/24 scale diecast metal collectible of #12 Coca-Cola sponsored 1969 Mercury Cyclone fastback raced by Bobby Allison in the 1971 Grand National Series. This is the first release in the University of Racing series and they have done an unbelievable job of producing a beautiful collectible. This is the unsigned version of this car but I also have the autographed version available on another listing so check my other listings if you want the signed version. Bobby raced this Mercury throughout the 1971 NASCAR Grand National Series. Bobby Allison is a racer's racer, a master mechanic, an innovator, a legend and an American sports hero. In the #12 Holman Moody Coca-Cola sponsored '69 Mercury Cyclone, Bobby took seven Grand National super speedway wins in 1971 leading to a career record of 85 wins, third overall among all NASCAR drivers. It features an all metal diecast chassis, opening hood, trunk, Holman Moody competition proven 427 engine, beautiful '71 Coke red and gold paint scheme over the classic '69 Cyclone fastback body style and chrome grill and bumpers. The interior is highly detailed and features Bobby's Motorola radio, the first to use radio communication with his crew during a race.
