German Tactical Armor Vest This Vest is chosen by Germany's military and the Elite GSG-9 UP FOR BID IS ONE GERMAN KEVLAR BODY ARMOR VEST This is a German military Fragmentation vest. It is in the Flecktarn camouflage pattern. The Kevlar panels are in good condition and have never taken a hit.The vest has 6 removable kevlar panels, 2 neck, 2 shoulder, 1 front and 1 back. The front of the vest has a pocket for a trauma plate (not included). This is the same vest used by Germany´s military, special forces, K-FOR and S-FOR troups, police and GSG-9. ML (medium long)GK (large short) This is a genuine German Kevlar body armor vest. Has full coverage with adjustable velcro fit. This is a genuine German Kevlar body armor vest. With full extended coverage. Includes one camouflage, three point, Velcro adjustable, outerwear carrier with Velcro abdominal security strap attached inside of carrier, and six, removable, Kevlar ballistic panels: one in the front portion; one in the back portion; one in each shoulder attachment; and two in the collar assembly. Velcro fasteners over left shoulder, and both sides. All panels are manufactured with 13 layers of lightweight, high-tenacity Kevlar 129 fabric and are each enclosed in a sealed water repellent heavy nylon cover. The 6 Kevlar panles provide Compleat Full Extended Coverage. The majority of body armor vests do not include full extended coverage like this. (You can wear the collar up or down) Besides the extended coverage protection, much development went into this vest making it very maneuverable without movement restriction while wearing it. The outer carrier is made of poly-cotton material which has 6 zippers on the inside of the carrier that open for easy removal of the water repellent nylon covered kevlar panels. The carrier also features a front expandable bellows pocket, Most millitary body armor is very bulky and heavy. This one is very comfortable, Is adjustable for fit and fits like a glove. The carrier is machine washable. Although I like this vest better as it has much more protection coverage, is adjustable, and the kevlar panels are removable from the cover for easy cleaning. Vest is in good condition, and has not been shot at. The condition of these vests varies from good to almost new. Some vests may be a little faded, some may have had a small tear in the cover that has been professionally repaired, and some look almost new. All the kevlar panels are sealed in nylon and are in excellent like new condition, the camo covers vary from good to excellent. This vest is very usefull for anyone who might need extra protection like news journalists, security guards, delivery agents, Contractors and personnel going over seas, high crime areas, dangerous situations, ect. Vest is also highly effective against knife attacks. REMEMBER: No body armor is totally bullet proof. Manufactures rate in accordance with german military standard threat levels. This vest will not protect against high powered ballistic threats. However trauma plate(s) and or ballistic ceramic (SAPI) plate(s) can be added to the vest by easily sewing or velcroing pockets inside the carrier. With the propper addition of trauma plates and or ballistic ceramic (SAPI) plate(s) you can raise the threat level in the area of the plate(s) to defeat higher powered ballistic threats. No vest is guaranteed to protect against injury and even though a vest may stop a bullet please be advised that the blunt force trauma will always produce some level of injury possibly resulting in severe bruising, broken bones, serious internal injury or death.
