This is a rare early body repair manual from Thatchams printed in 1975. It is in an apparently unused condition. The only reason I have listed it as "used" is that the cover is slightly dirty due to storage. It is a genuine Motor Industry Repair Research Centre (Thatcham) Guide to body repairs. It is produced for professional body repairs by the insurance industry and not available for general sale . There are a number of guides for different more recent models that are issued as new models come out - some of which I have sold /will be listing on Ebay. This covers the Audi 80L 4 door (and the other models that used the same bodyshell) as first sold in the UK market in 1973. It contains all the detailed information necessary to make approved and safe body repairs to original manufacturers specifications.It contains exploded diagrams of body panel assemblies and details of removal and reassembly (including factory weld positions and recommended repair joint weld positions). Where part panels are to be fitted it provides details of approved cut positions.Technical data includes sections on general panel replacement methods (inc trim removal - which is not covered in later manuals) and paint refinishing. It also includes replacement time schedules useful for costing a repair even if you are not doing it yourself.It consists of 66 A6 read more
