This is a rare early body repair manual from Thatchams printed in 1978. It is in an apparently unused condition. The only reason I have listed it as "used" is that the cover is slightly dirty due to storage and it has a black mark on the top edge. It is a genuine Motor Industry Repair Research Centre (Thatcham) Guide to body repairs. It is produced for professional body repairs by the insurance industry and not available for general sale . There are a number of guides for different more recent models that are issued as new models come out - some of which I have sold /will be listing on Ebay. This covers the Triumph TR7 as introduced to the UK market in 1976 (Hardtop only is covered, soft top specific panels are not covered). It contains all the detailed information necessary to make approved and safe body repairs to original manufacturers specifications.It contains exploded diagrams of body panel assemblies and details of removal and reassembly (including factory weld positions and recommended repair joint weld positions). Where part panels are to be fitted it provides details of approved cut positions.Technical data includes sections on general panel replacement methods (inc trim removal - which is not covered in later manuals) and paint refinishing.
