This is a beautiful porcelain statue from Boehm and is a limited edition that is extremely rare. T were only 500 made and this is number 117. She is called the Goddess Bastet. She stands 10 1/2" tall and appears to be in very good condition with no chips, cracks, flakes, flea bites, or repairs that we can see or feel. The bottom reads: "National Gallery, Washington & Field Museum, Chicago & New Orleans Museum of Art & Los Angeles County Museum & Seattle Art Museum & Metropolitan Museum of Art" in a circle and inside the circle reads: "Egypt Salutes The Unted States Bicentennial With The Exhibition of The Treasures of Tutankhamun 1976 To The Spring 1979 Courtesy of The Egyptian Museum, Cairo and six United States Hosting Museums Boehm Issue Limited Made In U.S.A.
