Up for auction is an old Otoscope / Ophthalmascope kit made by the Boehm Surgical Instrument Corporation, Rochester, NY. Circa 1930. Everything seems to be in good condition on this battery operated set. I know little about the instrument, so, please ask questions before bidding if you are unsure.T are no batteries (looks like it takes 2 D batteries). T are three extra / different light bulb attachments. The 4 3/8" X 8 3/8" faux leather-covered case is in good condition except for the cloth hinge side which is separating (see photo please). The velvet lined interior in in good shape. This instrument case is inscribed with the name of its previous owner: Charles W. Cure, M.D! What a fantastic name for a doctor! His name alone on the case is enough reason to make a bid. Great medical conversation piece. Low and reasonable reserve.
