Bohemian Blown Opal Art Glass Portrait Vase Mythological Greek Warrior Design Welcome to my auction! You are bidding for a decorative antique blown opal glass portrait vase depicting a Greek mythological warrior painted in an enameled and gilded fancy cartouche with a Greek Key Design frame . The vase stands 12 3/4" high and is colored (flashed) in a pale lime green color over translucent opal glass. It is gilded around the top rim and the base . The depicted warrior could be Achilles, but thats just a guess, Greek Mythology is not my forte. There is a # 8 in red on the base within the unpolished concave pontil. There is a gold enameled butterfly on the reverse side of the vase. .This unique mantle vase is in good condition , no chips or cracks but there are some very small dents and slight soil to the surface of the glass.
