Bohemian Ruby Cut Clear Glass Mantle Lustre Stag Castle

STUNNING is this antique mantle lustre of Bohemian ruby cut to clear glass. Has 3 scenes: castle, stag and bird with a fancy design between each scene (see photo). These scenes are very detailed with trees, etc. Is of heavy glass with deep ruby color and lots of artwork. Measures 13/16" across opening on top and stands 14 3/4" tall. The top has cut designs around the border then goes into the scenes. Directly below the scenes are 10 prisms. I believe that these are the original prisms as one has been reattached by a metal wire on the interior while the others are still on the little beaded thingys (I don't know what they are called). All but one of the prisms have blunted tips......but still sparkle and shine enough that is not noticed. A couple have a little more blunt end tips than the others but none are broken. They are cut into the back which goes into a point and the design sparkles into the front. Behind the prisms is the 'neck' that is most interesting........T are long cut to clear rounded rectangles into the neck area bordered by little dots and swirls in between these clear areas. Interesting because one can see through these areas to the other side. Then the base has the same designs as the top of the mantle. Now for areas of concern: 1.) I mentioned the prisms. 2.) T is a chip (see photo) on the very bottom of the base straight down from the castle. This area measures approx 5/8" long x 3/8" tall and looks like the cut to clear circles on the base.....but it is a chip in the ruby area. 3.) See photo---On the top of the mantle is a small chip on the rim of the piece with a very tiny chip to the left of the main one. Measures 7/16" x 5/16".....This chip begins on the outer area of the rim and goes back to the smaller side. Is mainly on the inner area and the top rim and only shows as a dip on the outer area of the rim. 4.) Approx 4 1/4" around the rim from this area is a very small chip in the ruby area that shows clear and measures approx 3/16" and has another directly to the left that is so tiny as it is not measurable. ****I have tried very hard to list everything that I see*** I DO NOT want anyone to think that this piece is not a stunning piece to place on anyone's buffet, mantle or anyw that one wants to show this off. I do want everyone to know that it is very old and not in perfect condition. A very unusual piece to have a mantle with these 3 scenes.
