is a beautiful sterling and 14K BOHLIN western style ranger buckle set made to accommodate a 1 inch belt featuring the famous Bohlin Poppies (the one on the buckle is set with a beautiful diamond) and SPECTACULAR hand engraving......what a rare and classy set! The tip of the tongue is also overlaid with gold. This piece comes out of the Reynolds Family Collection. The Reynolds family was one of the previous owners of the Bohlin Company. It is stamped "EDW. H. BOHLIN CO. MAKER HOLLYWOOD, CAL. STERLING 14K." It is also marker with the initials "AK" indicating that this piece was crafted by Ahmad Khan, probably the most gifted silversmith to work for the Bohlin Company during that period. It is also marked "EHB/A" indicating that this set was made during the first year of the Reynolds' family ownership. The buckle measures about 2 1/4 inches by 2 1/4 inches. The engraving is simply SPECTACULAR. ..even the sides of the keeper and tip are fully engraved....see for yourself!! It doesn't get better than this.
