Hi, This Auction is for a very old Antique three blade Stockman pattern pocket knife made by the Boker cutlery Company Newark,New Jersey. This knife measures just shy of 3 1/2 " in the closed position and features chip & crack free beautiful genuine smooth yellow Celluloid with a white back liner and it has a Nickle Silver Badge type inlay shield. This is a used knife, but it hasn't been abused and t is still a lot of use left in it.I'm really not sure if the blades have ever been re-sharpened.They are very sharp, but I can see no sharpening marks on any of the blades and all still have most of their original factory sheen. The blades are made of Hi-Carbon Steel and do have great opening and closing snap with no side play at the open position. The bolsters and pins are made of Nickle Silver and the liners are made of brass. The front tang stamp on the Master blade is Boker U.S.A. and the reverse is the very famous old chestnut tree logo (see picture).T is no pattern number on this knife.According to my book on cutlery markings Boker used this marking in the early 1900's when they owned controlling interest in the Valley Forge Cutlery Company. So for it's age it really is in very collectible condition and in my opinion would make a great addition to any vintage pocket knife collection or if you were looking for a good packer then I think read more
