Description: Once again, another fantastic old Caucasian rug from Talish region which was made around 1880. This is an attractive example of a small format of west Caucasian rug is showing a version of the rug in prayer design. Gorgeous and unusual design with fantastic color combination make this gorgeous piece so beautiful. Variety of pattern panning out to cover all available space was characteristic Beautiful gold as in main color, blue, ivory, rusty red, nice yellow, white, green, dark and light natural brown are colors of this gorgeous rug. All colors are natural and 100% vegetal dyes. The size of this antique village rug is: 4âe(tm)-6"x3'-2". (137cmx96cm). Rug s in great condition for its age, low even piles all over(foundations are not visible). It was made with wool on wool foundation. T are some small repilling areas at the field and both ends and selvages are complete but not original. The all work are absolutely fantastic and hard to see from back and front. Brown is oxidized in some places. The wool of this rug is absolutely soft and shiny handle is floppy, and the design and colors are impossible to describe.This rug is absolutely bold, rare and gorgeous, I doubt that you will find others like this especially on e bay. .Feel free for any of your questions regarding this auction or all my e bay listings and I offer read more
