Up for sale. The Bolex EBM 16mmfilm with Bolex Hi-8 8mm film camera. The EBM was the second to last in the line up of Bolex 16mm cameras (the last being the EL series). The camera features a mount for 400ft Bolex magazines, a bright reflex viewfinder, multi-thread bottom tripod mounts and a bayonet style lens mount. In addition to bayonet style mount lenses; the bayonet mount can also be fitted with adapters for use with PL mount lenses, and some Nikon and Canon lenses. The EBM features the same rugged, durable body style from previous Bolex models. The EBM is highly valued for its easy conversion to the super 16 format. The EBM & EL series were Bolex’s answer to the more expensive Arriflex series of 16mm cameras. The camera, gate & mechanics are in excellent condition. There are yellow marks on the camera body that look like numbers. I bought the camera from a University so I’m assuming they were inventory numbers. The marks have not damaged the body in any way. The Hi-8 camera is in excellent condition as well. The Hi-8 comes with two lenses but I’m including a third lens, a Som Berthiot zoom lens. The lens is in excellent condition. It will fit on the Hi-8 camera but it will have to be re-adjusted so the viewfinder lines up with the camera body properly.
