Bone Handle Rondel dagger of Renaissance This is a nice heavy dagger of just under 14" with a 9" carbon steel blade and heavy leather covered wood sheath (with metal trim). It is in the general style of a medieval fighting knife called a rondel dagger. This one was made for us at Von Sussen Ent, it has a sharp edge and an extra thick tang. The handle grip is natural bone. Natural bone handles are hand carved and may have some imperfections. They will develop some cracks or checking over time. I do not consider these flaws, if you want perfection, go to plastic. New, no problems. T is some oil on the blade in the photo that looks odd, the blade is well polished, sharp but not "keen", will take further sharpening if you like. NO RESERVE We are International shipping experts!
