Snyder's Treasures is pleased to offer An Original and Authentic Bonnie Parker & Clyde Barrow Official FBI Reward Poster. Bonnie & Clyde were notorious and successful bank robbers. They were actively pursued by the Division of Investigation of the Department of Justice (renamed the Federal Bureau of Investigation in 1935). They terrorized the Midwest in early 1930s, engaging in killing, robbing and car theft. They were eventually killed by federal agents in a bloody ambush. This is a 8 x 8 inch cardstock, wanted poster dated May 21, 1934, for the capture of the pair. The poster incorporates a pair of snap shots of both carrying guns. This poster along with others came to me from a person who found them is a large residue of paper products that had been carted away by a local Washington, DC contractor. I and others purchased them from him many years ago. T is some feeling by a few nonbelievers that this poster is a modern reproduction which it is not. Several noted American Auction Houses have been selling this exact same poster over the years for over $400. This is not the case with this offering. T is some edge wear and discoloration from age.
