This auction is for the book "The Bank Note Issues of United States Stamps, 1870-1893" compiled by Lester G. Brookman. Published by the American Philatelic Society, 1941. Description: The book measures 7 by 10 by 1/4 inches. 98 pages. Soft bound. This book contains sections on each denomination of the 1870-1887 issue, the 1890 issue, the 1893 Columbian issue, and proof, specimen and sample stamps. The information was originally published in the American Philatelist Handbook. Additional information has been added by the Handbook Committee of the APS. Condition: Good condition throughout. The cover has small stains and small spine wear.
