This edition is the only one in which Smith was listed as "author" rather than "translator," and was printed only two weeks before the formal founding of the Church of Latter-Day Saints on 6 April 1830. This beautiful copy could be mistaken for an original, as the parchment pages are ripples and have a burned appearance. The faux leather cover looks authentic, complete with bullet hole through the cover and pages.EOL-33
