Some Indian Events of New England This booklet, "a Collection of Interesting Incidents in the Lives of the Early Settlers of this Country and the Indians with Reproductions of Rare Prints", was originally compiled by Allan Forbes in 1934. Some Indian Events of New England was apparently produced as a premium or advertising piece for the State Street Trust Company of Boston. A second volume, Other Indian Events of New England followed in 1941. Our NEW 50-page 8.5" x 11" reproduction is printed on 60# offset paper, and includes all of the original 94 pages. The front cover is protected by a vinyl sheet. Some of the chapter titles are: "Squanto Guides the Pilgrims to Boston Harbour," "Weetamoe, the Queen Sachem of Pocasset," "American Indians in London" (including Pocahontas), "The Death of Canonchet," "The Captivity of Mary Rowlandson," and "Aptucxet Trading Post, the Cradle of American Commerce." Plus Second Book! Some Indian Events of New England Compiled by Allan Forbes in 1941, Other Indian Events of New England was a follow up to an earlier booklet on early American Indians.
