Book Condition: Good. First American Edition Stated (5th Vol). 7 1/2" x 5". Pages have significant foxing but still readable, binding cracked in middle of Volume One but still intact. Endpapers foxed and age toned with some small tears in the top corners of the endpapers on all volumes. A study in the art of conversation about numerous subjects and writings.
