This listing is for an authentic vintage US Presidential campaign item. This is a pressed steel license plate attachement or topper from the 1928 Presidential Campaign of Herbert Hoover. Plate is steel, with "Hoover" embossed. It has white background, red trim, red Hoover, and black other lettering. Plate measures 2-9/16" x 10-1/4". Plate has never been automobile mounted. It has excellent color and luster, with some edge paint chips and rubs from eighty years of storage. Plate is in excellent to near mint condition. There are no bends, breaks, rust, touch-ups, or repairs. This vintage Presidential Campaign License Plate attachement is absolutely old and authentic, and sells, with no reserve.
