This week I will be listing selections from a huge estate service of Booths "Real Old Willow" pattern. It is the original A8025 design with scalloped edges and gold trim. This remarkable service includes many very scarce serving pieces as well as hard-to-find place setting pieces. If you are looking for something special to add to your set or would like to start a collection be sure to watch my auctions this week! The china is in excellent estate condition--many pieces appear to be unused--with no chips, cracks or repairs. Any minor flaws will be noted. The bottoms have the maker's mark, pattern name and number with artist's marks. This auction offers one of the most unique pieces in the service--I believe it is a Covered GRILLE PLATE with a WARMING Dish. Any info on what to call this item would be appreciated! It measures 12 5/8" long, 9 1/2" across, 2" high to the edge and 4 1/2" to the finial on the lid. This is an incredible piece with the original cork and hard plastic stopper in place. T is light crazing of the glaze--not noticeable or distracting. U.S. Priority shipping and very careful packing will vary with your postal zone.
