An original oil on linen canvas by the listed Yugoslavian born, French artist Boris Cenic (1921). Fluently painted in his typical array of bright color swatches and bold, draft-like lines (similar to his contemporary, Bernard Buffet).
Signed by the artist, "B. Cenic" lower left. Also has B. Cenic written on back of canvas as well as a series of (file?) numbers. Undated but circa 1960's.
Canvas measures 24" x 20", framed in an appropriate period wooden gallery frame, measuring about 25" x 21".
T is a small patch on the back evidence of an old repair that is largely invisible from the front, otherwise the painting is in very good condition for an approximately 50 year old work.
