Offered for auction is a beautiful medium amethyst colored pressed glass open salt by Boston & Sandwich Glass, circa 1840-1860. Acquired at auction from a Massachusettes' estate, this lovely piece measures 3-1/4" by 2-3/8" at the rim, with stepped exterior sides to a 1-3/4" by 7/8" inverted waffle base. It stands 1" high and is in very good condition. The auction condition report reads " Near proof with a few light rim chips and a small under rim fill." Payment by PayPal is due within 3 days of auction end. Package will be shipped by USPS First Class Mail, with delivery confirmation included in shipping charges for US purchases.
