is a very nice CAST IRON YELLOW DOG DERRICK OR OIL WELL OIL LANTERN LAMP BY BOVAIRD & SEYFANG MFG. CO., BRADFORD, PA. This lantern is in very good, original condition with no chips, breaks, rust holes, etc. T is, I'm sorry to say, no lid to it, as almost all lids got lost over the last 100+ years. It measures 7 1/2" tall without the bail handle (about 14" with it), and 12" from spout to spout. I had another about a year ago that was painted black, but this one is not painted, nor cleaned. It is as I found it, and will leave any cleanup to the new owner.
