A super quality pair of solid silver napkin rings in their original box marked FR Turner & Son., Lands Lane, Commercial Street, Leeds. Both rings are perfectly plain except for the initial 'D'. Fully hallmarked as follows - maker's mark WH & S Ld, Crown being the town mark for Sheffield, Lion Passant showing silver purity of 925/1,000 and finally, date letter large case 'Z' which I believe relates to 1942. 70 years old! Condition is very good with just normal surface wear. Box also in good condition to normal surface wear. Hinges and clip working well. The quality is reflected in the combined weight of over 2 troy ozs.. Approx. dimensions - 3.1cms. high and 4.4cms. wide. Combined weight of rings 65.2grms. Combined with box 180grms..
