This set is extremely rare! These views are grey mount cards and are in good to very good condition. Troutman was a relatively small manufacturer of views and the quality is not equal to that of the larger companies. This makes views from this series very difficult to find, much less a collection of 200 different views. About half of these views have descriptive text on the back of the view. These views are not numbered consecutively. Numbers range from 1-300. The boxes are in good condition. Solid throughout. These boxes are marked "Stereographic Library" and "World War Through the Stereoscope". W.E. Troutman Inc. is at the bottom of the box spine. I have been collecting stereoviews with an emphasis on boxed sets for several years and this is an extremely rare set being offered. A true Gem for any collector. Waldsmiths book valued this at $1200+ in 2002. I will be offering a portion of my collection for sale over the next few days. The majority of the items are WWI related. Some of the offerings are extremely rare and will make great additions to any collection. Watch my other items for some real gems. My pricing is based on the pricing listed in John Waldsmith,s "StereoViews an Illustrated History and Price Guide" 2nd Edition 2002.
