You are bidding on a vintage Boy Scout Masters hat or Campaign Cover with its protective form fitted hard board sleeve . This type of hat was used by a number of organizations including the Boy Scouts. The hat is a large size & is in good condition. There are no holes in the hat but the sweat band is worn & torn in a couple of places but the hat is still serviceable. The draw string is also a bit frayed wear it passes through the holes. The inner size of the hat is 8" long, 6 3/4" wide and 23 3/4" inner diameter which would be a size 7 1/2 according to U.S.A. / Canada hat size charts.

N.B. When we listed this hat, we had assumed it was a Boy Scout Leaders hat, but after purchasing a fully marked Boy Scout Leaders hat we are not sure if this one fits into that category. The inner lining on this hat is not marked nor does it bear the Boy Scout logo. There is a possibility that this hat may be an early 20th century US Cavalry hat, please keep that in mind if you bid on this item.
