See the scans. This is a scarce, attributed 1920's Eagle Scout lot with the medal, two patches, the merit badge sash and three contest ribbons. The Eagle Medal is, I think, a Robbins 1C type and is hallmarked "STERLING" on the back of the top bar. It is 29mm wing tip to wing tip and has the notch on the back of the pendant. The merit badge sash is about 31" long (and doubled) and 3 1/2" wide with 37 merit badges. I assume that these are the square type that have been cut down to circular. 2 1/2 of them go over the top to the back. They include Stalking, Public Health, Safety, Reptile Study, Cooking, Metal Work, Firemanship, Civics, Wood Work, Painting, Textiles, Hiking, Swimming, etc. Generally very fine - extremely fine condition, minor wear to Eagle Scout medal ribbon, minor mothing to the yellow 1925 bear patch, some wear to the silk ribbons. A great 1920's Southern California eagle scout lot. I love the 1925 bear patch! Lot includes a 1938 Fire Underwriters booklet stamped "CHARLES L. MAJOR, Captain, Ord. dept. Public Relations Officer" and a letter written to me from my source stating, "George, All of the enclosed came out of a trunk and on the top of the trunk very nicely painted is "Charles L. Major, Capt. Ord. Dept. 0-1574991." The booklet and letter are not illustrated in this listing. So, the BSA material is attributed read more
