I have here an early Boy Scouts sterling Eagle Scout badge in the original box. The medal is being offered as found. The ribbon is rough at the bottom and the medal has an old unpolished patina. There is a bronze and gold Eagle Palm attached to the ribbon. The back of the Be Prepared piece is marked Sterling. Another problem I see is the Eagle at the bottom of the medal doesn't lay flat when the medal is held up. It may need an adjustment which will not attempt. Under the lid of the box is, Eagle Scout Badge Awarded By The Boy Scouts of America. The box is in good condition. NO RESERVE on this early Eagle Scout Medal/Badge.
