BOYERTOWN PA PREPARING BURIAL FIRE VICTIMS RPPC: BURIAL OPERA HOUSE FIRE VICTIMS JAN 1908 In a recent estate buyout we obtained a large postcard album. The album was full of cards sent from Mr. George McHenry to his wife, Annie and his young son, Royden. These cards were sent when George worked for a gas and oil company. His job was to obtain leases and that job took him by train all across Pennsylvania and evidentially to the Midwest across the states of Oklahoma and Kansas to the great oil fields t He kept his family informed with the post cards that he bought and the great messages on the back. Most of the cards were not sent via the Post Office but were sent with his laundry and other packages on the train back to his home in Indiana, PA. The cards are all mostly dated 1909 and 1910. These cards are some of the best real photo cards that I have ever offered for sale. Obviously not all of the cards were sent from George to his family; however, all the cards we now have for sale on eBay came from this marvelous family album. I am sorry to break up this album. Unfortunately, I could find no one who would buy this album in its entirety for a fair price. Please look at all the cards as t are many hard to find scenes offered. Wow!
