A set of five medals from the late 1970's and early 1980's. In the main photograph they are as follows:- Top Left Partick District not engraved, Top Right engraved 2nd Grays BB D&TC 1978/79. Middle medal is the larget of the five and is engraved 2nd Grays BB D&TC 1982/83, Bottom Left engraved Best BB Horn 80 and lastly Bottom Right is engraved Best BB Horn 78. All are in very good condition and would benefit from a gentle clean. The 2nd Grays awards are interesting as they relate to the Company's Drum and Trumpet Corps also know as the 'Foot Tappers'. They were a wonderful band that I remember seeing on many occasions at the Royal Albert Hall Displays. Everything that I sell is from my personal collection, I am a hoarder, not a dealer!
