Profusely illustrated with b/w engravings, photographs with colour plates as called for, with minor wear and creasing, including a number of multi fold examples, such as 'Badges and Ranks of our Navy and Army' and 'Orders, Decorations, Medals and Ribbons of the British Empire'. Overall In Good to Good+ condition. Oddly, the index has been bound to the rear of the volume, and is missing the title page accordingly. Occasional small marks. Includes items of military interest, including a folding cutaway of a dreadnought and a great colour illustration of Aeroplanes and Airships, which include the Sopwith hydroplane and the Zeppelin airship, as well as many rip roaring serial stories by Captain Charles Gilson, John Lea, Major Charles Young, Arthur Lee Knight and J Claverdon Wood.
