Bradex Number 84-B10-443 series. This series is extremely hard to find. I have never seen these plates offered before. They depict the well known New England winter lithographs by Currier and Ives. This is the complete series offered in 1995. The first plate is called Early Winter (Plate Nr. 1159A) and is a rural setting with people ice skating. This plate has never been displayed and comes with the Certificate of Authenticity. The second plate is "American Homestead Winter" (Plate Nr. 1796A). This plate depicts a horse drawn sleigh passing by a large rural farmhouse. Certificate of Authenticity included. This plate has never been displayed. The third in the series is "American Winter Scenes: Morning" (Plate Nr. 1147A) and depicts a frozen pond with towns people out on the pond and children sleding down a hill. Certificate of Authenticity included. This plate has never been displayed. The fourth in the series is "Winter Morning - Feeding the Chickens" (Plate Nr. 1443A) and depicts a rural farmhouse with a mother and children feeding the chickens. This plate was displayed in a tight curio cabinet when I first received it. It has been in its box since summer of 1996. The certificate is missing. The colors on these plates are warm earth tones with gold filigree around the edge and Currier & Ives on the bottom front center of the plate. The pictures I have taken are not that clear and I apologize. These are beautiful plates and would look great in a gold hanger or plate holders. I have watched for these plates over the years and have never seen them offered. The are in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, peeling or crazing. The finish on them is a little different than any of my other Bradford Exchange plates. I would say grainy, but I am not sure that is really correct. Shipping will be through USPS standard or priority per buyers preference. Insurance is recommended, but is up to the buyer. Please let me know if you wish to add insurance. Please do not pay until I have sent an invoice as I will charge the exact amount for shipping.
