This beautiful pair of wall sconces are signed on the back " B & H " in a circle. The sconces measure appx. 13" tall by appx. 10" across at the widest point. The flowers are hand painted and the basket has a weave. Below the basket is a leaf design with a cluster at the bottom. The handle of the basket has a ribbon intertwined around with an oval at the very top. The entire basket, flowers, ribbon etc., are all cast metal. The cone shaped sconces and arms are brass. Around each lamp at the top of the cones is a painted cast iron floral wreath. The wreaths are in sections and attached with 8 screws. Each brass cone to the sconce has a hole in it and they may have been gas fixtures at one time. The candles are covered with a white painted sleeve and are brass. Below this are cardboard sleeve which are signed " Bryant 250W 250V". The center of the sconce is appx. 5" from the back plate. The back has the wiring holes which have no wires. T is a brass swing arm mounted to the back which measures appx. 1 1/2" long and may have been attached to keep them away from the wall. We believe this is the original paint and it is colorful. This is a beautiful and rare pair of sconces that will enhance any area. T are no chips, cracks, breaks ore repairs. Visit our ebay auction site for more vintage items we have listed.
