's a historic Minnesota small maker lure attributed to the 1930s.... This exceptional historic factory fresh original GEM MINT condition example is a highly collectible SCARCE 3-1/2" length Bass fishing weedless lure called -- AL LURE O MOUSE LURE.... Made with 1-3/4" length soft solid rubber body (not hollow), has painted nose and painted eyes plus a trailing 1-3/4" length wide double-tail of white chamois -- tail attached to the lure body with a free swinging metal o-ring hanging from a looped twisted wire shaft wrapped around the shank of the treble hook recessed in the soft rubber mouse shape body.... A pantented lure -- the Mouse Lure body belly was factory imprinted " WEEDLESS Pat'd AL-LURE-O ".... A 100% weedless design bass lure intended for casting among reeds, weeds and lily pads to reach the big bass.... Lure, display card, instructions and the 1" x 3-7/8" celluloid crystal-clear display tube with twist-off black metal cap remain absolutely flawless.... The celluloid display tude is marked " CELLU PLASTIC " in raised letters on the base of the tube.... This outstanding factory packaged lure has been in my personal collection for decades after I originally purchased a dealer box of mint Al Lure O Mouse lures at a Minnesota lure meet in the 1970s. I placed this example in my own collection and quickly sold off all the duplicates during the early 1980s from my display booth located...
