Antique brass snake and goblet with great patina. The snake and goblet figure is a very old symbol used to identify a store front as a pharmacy or an apothecary, it is quite rare to see because it was latter replaced by the more popular mortar and pestle symbol or the red/or green cross style signs. Unknown age, appears to be part of a hanging or mounted apothecary sign that would typically have hung outside of a pharmacy at the turn of the century. Has hole in the middle of the goblet stem and a threaded hole at the base as shown in the pictures. Great gift for the collector of apothecary or medical items. Measures aprox 9 inches tall x 6 1/2 inches wide x 1 1/8 inches deep. Ship only to continental USOnly accept PayPal method of paymentSold as isNo returns Posted with eBay Mobile
