The double beams are brass, locking poises are brass, weight hanger is brass, locking lever is brass, all mounting screws are brass and both stands are brass. Each beam has a capacity of 100 pounds. The Fairbanks name is stamped on both sides of the beam. The base measures about 20 X 5 3/4". The beam is about 17 1/2" long. The scales stand about 12" tall including the base. The scale is old but the base is new. The entire unit weighs over 11 pounds.
