All Brass HO Scale Western Pacific Railroad's (WP) M-100 Class Challenger Type (4-6-6-4) Articulated Steam Locomotive from Key Imports A very hard to find HO scale all brass model of Western Pacific Railroad's (WP) M-100 class Challenger type (4-6-6-4) articulated steam locomotive with the coal tender from Key Imports. The prototype engines of this class were built by American Locomotive Company (ALCO) for WP in 1938 to handle heavy freight services in the Nevada and Utah region. This limited edition model was manufactured by the master craftsmen of Samhongsa in Korea for Key Imports in the early 1980's. Exquisitely detailed including cab interior and sprung drivers. P owered by a quality can motor, it runs very smooth and quiet, a must have articulated steam locomotive for the serious WP collector and modeler. In excellent all brass condition and comes with the original box and foam. Standard shipping is to a domestic US address by USPS Priority Mail or UPS ground service and includes full insurance.
