CONDITION: Very Good to Excellent. The paint is excellent with a few worn spots and/or chips. A working constant intensity headlight was added, as well as a 28-1 NWSL idler gearbox to replace the Rok-Am gearbox which failed on many of their models in the 70's. The motor was replaced by a new Sagami can motor, the best. The model was test run on a short test track and runs well. Box and foam are in good condition - bottom foam piece has been replaced.DESCRIPTION: Built by Rok-Am in Korea and imported by Overland in 1979, this model is similar to the Heavy USRA Mikado design. I bought this model as new in 1987 and painted the model myself. I have painted over 50 other N, HO, and O scale models that I built, and another 10 models for customers, and I consider the paint quality to be as-custom.
