A BEAUTIFUL - ANTIQUE - BRASS KEROSENE/OIL LAMP We have up for sale... a gently used - brass kerosene - round wick - lamp. It has a round metal base & underneath bottom is weighted. This beautiful used "table lamp/lantern" has a small ding on the bottom. The ding is about 3/8 inch round and about 1/8 inch deep. The top tank also has a ding about 3/4 inch long 1/2 inch wide and maybe 3/8 deep.See photos on both dings & more details. It does have wear as it should... for it's age. It has a "18 80" stampted date on it. The stamped eagle on the fill tank has an "18" to the left of the Eagles left wing and an "80" to the right of his right wing. The cage on top that holds the shade - has a couple of very small bends. (Please see all photos for more details.)The round wick is there and it does go up & down. How far? I don't know and don't want to force the wick off and/or to fall into the tank. The dimensions are: about 5 7/8 inches wide at the base & a little over 11 inches tall without the shade. It measures just over 18 inches tall - with the glass shade. The lamp was found in a "Collectibles Shop" in Maine and the "Hard to find" glass shade from a small Antique Shop in N.H.The sculpted glass shade is a thin & a delicate one.The width of the bottom of the glass globe - where it sits in the brass cage is about an inch & seven eighths(1 & read more
