This is a brass locomotive bell that was given to me by a friend many years ago. The bell is from a General Electic Plant in Erie PA. They quit using brass for t bells in 1960's and use only cast iron now. This bell is in good shape with no cracks. The bell is 53 pounds and 11 inches high. It is 12 inches wide. The bell itself has no markings. The clapper is a general motors clapper which GE would often replaced the orginal GE clappers with. The clapper's markings are TRANSPTN DEVICES CORP B-163. Buyer is to pay the shipping cost, I am using the automatic shipping cost from the calculator which will use your zip code to create the price of shipping to w you live.
