This unusual brass badge is in very good condition. It is about 2 1/4 inches wide in oval shape.The following information was provided by Cheadle Hulme School War Memorial "In Nov. 1914 the Executive Committe made a premilinary offer to the Red Cross Society of the infecdtious Hospital, at the school, for use as a hospital for wounded soldiers. By March 1915 agreement was reached and the hospital was refurnished by the Red Cross etc."Check out my other items !
