This auction is for a Post Office cabinet with seventeen doors included. It is in as found condition. The cabinet is made of oak and is solid. Designed for twenty two mailboxes, only seventeen doors remain. Of the seventeen, seven do not have glass but otherwize they seem to be in very good condition. The doors are made by Corbin with the number "86" on the inside. I understand this cabinet came from the old Walterboro, South Carolina Post Office and are from the 1920s. This cabinet weighs around 80 pounds so I would very much prefer the winner to come to Charleston, South Carolina to pick it up. I could probably be talked into meeting the winner somew around the south charging only a nominal fuel charge. If you only interested in the doors, I am willing to remove them from the cabinet and ship only them. Tfore, I am leaving the shipping cost blank for this auction.Feel free to contact me with any questions.
