I am selling this brass ships clock, which has been lying in a garage for quite some time.Unfortunately the brass has seen better days and is quite pitted especially around the base. I supose this could be said to add to the character of the itemI have taken off the clock from the wooden mount, to try and find a maker's name, but no name can be found. On the front, the dial has Germany written on the base, so that may be a clue. There are chimes, which seem to be 2 short chimes on the hour and 1 on the 1/2 hour. The end of the minute hand seems to be pointing downwards slightly, but I don't know if this is how it is supposed to be, or whether it has indeed been bent. I am sure this would be a very easy fix, but I have decided not to touch it ... in case I break it.I have no idea how old this is. UK MAINLAND DELIVERY ONLY ... BY COURIER
