I presume that this box of brass interconnecting stencils have come from a military store somewhere, the name on the lid of the box has been painted over a long time ago and I thought I could see some writing under so gave the lid a wash and as you can see these stencils are British but I did not want to ruin the lid and I have no idea of the maker or age. I should imagine that these are quite old, only a couple of the stencils appear to have been used and it is more than a full set but there are no 4's or 9's but ther are & signs and plenty of 'full stops' etc . Altogether there are 105 stencils mainly 1/2" some of them have been bent over the years but I am sure if you wanted to use them it would not be a problem as they are quite a soft metal. I think the writing on the lid says ' The ------Box British Made
