I have a number of Joao Perotti dolls and love their bright colorful felt and linen clothing and faces. The story is that the person who started this compaby formerly worked for Lenci, hence some similarities in faces. The tags are usually sewn into the underside of the clothing - this one has just a fraction of the tag left but enough letters that I can see the familiar name. This doll is 14 inches tall, she is a topsy turvy doll with a black face on one end and a lighter skinned face on the other end. The lighter skinned face is wearing a "Carmen Miranda" style hat with fruit but is missing some items and is a little rough although the silk turban is in great condition. The other clothing is overall in very clean bright condition. The faces have been loved and kissed away paint, but still retain their personality and charm.All items are from a smoke free home. I pack carefully and ship quickly. Most of my items are more than 10 years old so expect minor flaws - bent or creased tags, sometimes pilling of paw pads - all from usual wear and tear.
