This auction is for a complete Universal No. 4 Bread Maker. On the front it says, No. 4 Universal Bread Maker, Awarded Gold Medal, St. Louis Exposition 1904, Made by Landers Frary & Clark, New Britain Conn. USA . T are 6 pieces. The pail, the cover, the crank, the kneading rod, the clamp and the holder for the blade and turning handle . A No. 4 made 4 loaves. The tinned pieced pail is 11.75" at the top and 8.5" at the bottom. It is 9" tall. On the bottom t is a slot to insert a clamp to hold it on a table. T are also 2 little feet . Stamped on the cover is, Put in all liquids first, then Flour, Turn 3 Minutes, Raise in Pail, After Raising, Turn until dough forms a ball, Take off cross piece lift out dough with a kneader. Cover with this when raising. (In the picture the cover should have been turned so t was no exposed area.) On the piece holding the crank and kneading rod, it says, No. 4 Universal Bread Maker. Patented Dec. 11, 1902 , June 2, 1903 , Aug. 25, 1903 , Sept. 6, 1904 , July 17, 1906 , July 14, 190- , Nov. 3, 190_, Feb, 21, 1906, Dec. 25, 1908, Made by Landers, Frary & Clark, New Britain, Conn. USA. The pail is 11.75" at the top and 8.5" at the bottom. It is 9" tall. On the bottom t is a slot to insert a clamp to hold it on a table. T are also 2 little feet .
