Welcome to Classique Jewellery Description This is, unquestionably , amongst the very finest Art Nouveau bracelets we have ever listed, and I would argue it to be amongst the most exquisite you will find anywhere ! It is just stunning, infinitely nicer in the flesh than it appears here in these images, which have failed to capture either its beauty or its splendour. I am informed by its previous owner that it was originally purchased in Berlin as a late 19th Century SILVER GILT piece and I am in total agreement with that. Its unmistakeable Art Nouveau fluid design, sinuous, ornate decoration is unequivocally German JUGENDSTIL , typical of the late Victorian, early Edwardian era. It is stamped to a relief plaque, ' 835 ' and what appears to be a script ' LN ' signature. My research has led me to conclude that this may be a mark of the Hanau Silversmith's, LUDWIG HERESHEIMER . This IS, solid silver with a high carat gold (Vermeil), whose quality is such that it is still all entirely intact. It measures 7.35 Inches long, ( 18,75cms ) and 1.4cms wide, weighing a chunky, solid 20 grams , 0.64 TROY ounces . It is inset with THREE, beautiful and genuine CITRINES ; ovals measuring approximately 10mm X 8mm X 4mm deep. This gives an estimated CARAT weight of 5.1 CARATS, Ctw .
