From my personal vintage jewelry collection: This is a magnificent wide bracelet and earring set in a quite beautiful design that is signed by the very diverse and talented designer Hobe', who has fast become one of my very favorites. The rhinestone scheme is one used often by this fine designer, but, as usual, he gives it its own personality. It is just gorgeous, and perfect for any occasion, elegant or casual. This set happens to be a favorite of mine, and I have had it for quite awhile. I am partial to these wonderful pieces, and the design is so sparkly and elaborate, that I am reluctant to list it. But, sometimes we must share these amazing pieces with others, so more will know of the beauty created these many years ago.The cuff bracelet is quite large and heavy, signed Hobe' on the back of the bracelet's clasp, and on each clipback. The bracelet has a massive, raised 3-dimensional centerpiece, centered around a huge open-backed oblong-shaped brilliant peridot-colored rhinestone surrounded by layers and layers of sparkling clear large teardrop-shaped, marquis, baguettes, and rounds. These clear stones in the elaborately layered centerpiece (and each earring) extend down the length of the entire bracelet. The earrings each have a large open-backed peridot-colored round stone, surrounded by all the layering of the clear stones as well. On the bracelet, all stones are faceted and prong-set, mounted in the ornate centerpiece, as well as all the way down both sides of the shiny silver-toned, slinky band. Jeweled up and down, the bracelet is so amazing with the rhinestones selected and positioned perfectly, so as to catch and refract each others' colors and light. This is what sets Hobe' apart as a designer, and this attribute is masterfully executed in this classic set. To me, this is Hobe' at his best & brightest.This sparkling bouquet of color and texture is set in a very beautiful and heavy well-made design on the bracelet and on each earring. I see no stones missing. Amazingly, t appears to be only minimal (if any) wear to the stones and to the metalwork, any of which would be understandable, given the estimated age of the set. All stones look wonderful. All the stones are in good, clear condition, with the possible exception of a few of the tiny clear rounds, which might appear a bit darker than others. Regardless, this is nothing that detracts from the overall beauty of this set.T is so much glitter and sparkle in this set, it simply looks marvelous for its estimated age!All pieces are of excellent quality and are very wearable for their weights & sizes, as I have come to expect from this exceptional designer. The set was apparently very well-cared-for by its previous owner(s). Measuring approx. 6 3/4 inches long and 2 inches wide at the centerpiece, the bracelet is quite stunning. T is no safety chain, but the clasp is nice and tight. The bracelet feels cool and smooth against the wrist.The earrings are just stunning and measure approx. 1 3/8 inches long by 1 1/4 inches wide.This is an unusual and beautiful wonderful Hobe' set that I hate parting with!
