From my personal vintage jewelry collection: This is such a beautiful and well-made signed cuff bracelet by Sherman, and in one of the many amazing designs by this premier Canadian designer with whom we have all become so familiar. The quality on the Sherman pieces is such that he is one of the most admired designers in vintage costume jewelry these days. This is a marked SHERMAN rhinestone bracelet in wonderful condition. It is signed in a rectangular cartouche on the back. T are 7 rows of rhinestones - 5 are tiny clear rounds (they look lilac or lavender in some lighting), and the remaining 2 rows are alternating pale pink and purple marquis-cut stones. I tried to capture the sparkle these stones give off but I just couldn't do this bracelet justice. It has a domed shape, enabling it to hug the wrist in the most flattering fashion. The magnificent stones are set in shiny silver-toned metalwork -- most probably rhodium plate. I have not sold much of my Sherman collection lately, as it has somewhat dwindled, but, on a whim, decided to offer this piece for auction to see if anyone is interested... I have no doubt that it will find a wonderful new home with someone that loves and admires it as much as I do. Hopefully, someone has a matching piece (or pieces), and these would help to complete their set. The bracelet is in great condition as far as I can tell, and in a magnificent design that doesn't go up for bid much, so get it while you can. The effect is amazing, but the stone shapes are as well. All are faceted and prong-set, and make up this veritable bouquet of shape and sparkle. Sherman only used the very finest rhinestones in his creations. All stones appear bright and clear, with virtually no wear to the stones or to the very shiny silver-toned metalwork. The effect is pretty awesome and very sparkly. All stones shine brilliantly! No stones are missing or dull. This piece is of excellent quality and in exceptional condition. It looks rarely worn, if ever. The bracelet measures approx. 7 1/4 inches long by 7/8 inch wide. T is a working safety chain, as well as a nice, tight clasp. This is an exquisite Sherman bracelet! Always beautiful and well-constructed.
